2015 Trek X-Caliber 9, 19.5"

Here is my first 'proper' mountain bike, purchased new in 2014, with spec upgrade.

This bike has been ridden and looked after for 2 years by a qualified bicycle mechanic.

I have made quite a few changes to make the bike more aggressive and 'trail' orientated. Some parts are brand new, so I could sell a complete bike and some parts are fairly worn. They don't need replacing right away but something to think about in the future. Brakes are mismatched, but fairly new and powerful up front. You can;t tell the levers are different when riding.

The 29er wheels roll over everything, are very confidence inspiring and give loads of grip. Uphill is a breeze too.

A great bike to take to Ashton Court, Leigh Woods, Cwmcarn, Bike Park Wales, Afan etc. You'd be surprised what you can do with 100mm of travel.

The air fork is reliable and tuneable with a shock pump to your weight.

I changed to a 1x system to avoid dropped chains and it works! Still enough gears for tough trail centre climbs.

The rear tyre is set up tubeless which really helps prevent pinch flats, so you can really hammer it. The front rim is tubeless ready also, if you wanted to do the same there, although I have never pinch flatted the front.

Having to sell as I bought a new frame and don't have enough room!

-Rear tyre, Nobby Nic 2.25, set up tubeless with rim strip
-Front tyre, Bontrager XR4 Team Issue 2.3, set up with inner tube

-New freehub body
-New bottom bracket
