((( RARE-- SCOTT SUPER BRAKES !!!! )))))

I randomly came across these Vintage Scott Super brakes and bought them brand new from a guy who still had a small remaining inventory of these brakes about 4 years ago, which he no longer has (as I tried buying another set). These are actually in the bicycle museum and are a super rarity. I was going to have them built up for a custom steel road frame by one of the local frame builders, but I never got around to it and don't foresee it happening anytime soon. So I'm trying to avoid being a hoarder and just sell these along with the rest of my parts, as it's better to have them put into use and also to help me fund my mt bike project. I put about 50 miles on these brakes as I wanted to try them out of curiosity, AND THEY ARE MIND BLOWINGLY POWERFUL!!! Not only that, I'm a mechanic, and I immediately took note to the CNC machining craftstmanship and just how well-thought out these brakes were for setting up and mounting-- just way ahead of their time, and are much much much more efficient in setting up than another brake today, and have more abilities to fine tune your adjustments with these brakes! So, I'm breaking up my treasured keep, hopefully someone else who knows and understands the quality of these brakes can resume ownership of them and appropriate them correctly to their bike build. I paid $350 for these. I'm willing to let them go for $150. And yes, if your considering the future, these very same brake pads can still be purchased online if you should wear these one's out.
