Rock Shox Pike U-turn coil forks, 95-140mm travel, 20mm axle
Upgrades: Hope/DT Swiss wheels, XT brakes, bigger rotors, SLX chainset, Race Face stem and Charge saddle.

Purchased new by my wife in July 2009. Generally good condition (better than average) due to infrequent use. Some scratches and scuffing as you’d expect but absolutely no dents or dings. Mechanically very good with smooth pivot bearings, BB and headset. Drivetrain in good condition with recent chain, cassette and chainrings (still doesn’t reach the 0.75% stretch position on chain wear tool). Rear shock and fork working as they should and both have had frequent services, most recently an air can service on the shock and lower leg service on the Pikes. Really nice geometry which was very slack and ‘modern’ when it was new and remains up to date. Rear shock has 2 mounting positions givinga 67.5deg or 66deg head angle in the slacker setting. USA-made aluminium frame.

Upgrades over standard spec:
Wheels: Hope Pro2 EVO front and rear hubs with DT Swiss EX5.1d rims, excellent condition.
Tyres: front Maxxis HR 2.35 supertacky; rear Nobby Nic2.25” triple compound on the back, both in good condition.
Chainset: SLX inc 22-36t chainrings plus bashguard.
Brakes: Shimano XT disc brakes with 203mm front and 180mm rotors (Shimano and Formula) both freshly bled and recent pads.
