1996 Cervélo Hand Built Frame from The Start up Days Rare

Up for sale is this piece of Cervélo history finished in brilliant orange with a 23 inch frame and a stand over height of 33 inches.
This bike is from the start up days of Cervélo when they were hand welded/build frames in the basement/garage of Gerard Vroomen and Phil White.
This is bike that revolutionized the aero frame of today. Top of the line in 1996 the comparison would be the S5 of today. So think of it as an aluminum version of the S5

This bike sold for over $2300.00 in 1996 as it was a custom order.
I have had this bike verified by Cervélo and one of the actual former frame builders from the start days.
This is a one off bike build on an Eyre frame jig but with a few differences.
Overall the bike is very nice condition with a couple paint chips, after all the bike is from1996.

The bike has Easton Vista wheelset, BSA carbon fibre fork, Shimano Dura Ace front rear derailleur, Dura Ace 9 speed cassette 11-25(will double check on gearing) Shimano Dura Ace bar end shifters, Vision Aero Bars, FSA Gossamer cranks 53t 39t, new Shimano Ultegra bottom bracket, Cervélo brake calipers, titanium seat post, Cervélo seat, all new inter/out cables and completely ready to ride. All the outer cable housings are orange and with the black bars, wheels and crank this bike just pops

This is a fantastic bike and is a unbelievable ride. You will totally get why there is so many Cervélos on the road once you try this bike.
This bike would be great to get a start in racing, daily rider(not sure I would want leave it lock up outside while I was at work/school), would be a great weekend warrior, basically to ride which it was exactly built for.
I get so much attention on this bike mostly sitting at a light with the high end Cervélo riders. I have even had a few S3 S5 and R3 rides asked me too let them try it. They generally cannot believe it is from the 1990ties.
This is not one of the hoard bikes of my family member that I have listed in the past
