Selling my 03 quad cab dakota. Testing the waters. (Trades for TDI or Jeep YJ-TJ???)
Truck runs and drives well, always starts. Has the 4.7Ltr V8 (235hp and 300ft-lbs of torque) with 3.55 axle ratio. Never had any mechanical issues with it. Only has 173k on it. A/C blows cold and heat works great, power windows and door locks. 5speed Automatic with overdrive on/off. Tires still have life left. Brakes, pads and rotors front and rear were done about a month and half ago and a new brake master cylinder. Has factory fog lights, console switch 4x4 (2wd, 4hi, 4lo) works great in the winter time.
*****The bad******
-Obviously it needs to have some paint work done. I did fix some little dings and dents in it and primered those areas, it just needs to be painted which I havent gotten around to doing.
-Front right wheel bearing is starting to go, will need replacing.
-Needs a rear bumper (doesnt need one for safety)
-Needs a passenger rear fender flare (doesnt need one for safety)
-Steering intermediate shaft has play in the bushings (wonky steering wheel), been driving with it for a few months now. Its about 80$ for a new one.
-Does have some rust on passenger and driver side rockers (driver side has some rotting at the rear, other wise its relatively solid)
-Needs E-brake cable
-Will probably need front struts (shocks) down the road at some point
I think that covers it all, otherwise the truck is pretty clean and drives good for its age. What you see is how it looks, no bull$hit, no surprises. I drive it dailey to work and back, so its currently on the road. If the truck is not sold, will have it painted and do a few things to it, and post it back up for a more expensive price.
Message me for more pictures or questions. Cheers
