Damn, that berm slam 0:45! Then that shot @ 1:19! I can't remember what I said but I yelled sump'm when I saw that! To me that's how ya want yer DH. Big airs, sideways, all-out rowdy like. Keep that shit comin' bruh. MOTORHEAD! \m/
I've seen some people say things like "who even rides DH bikes anymore", not to mention the stories of people abandoning their 200mm steeds in favour of 160mm do-it-alls.
it will all depend on the palces you live and ride, if you have big mountains or trail's with lift access ,or by road and with what ease you arrange shutle runs
and if you can have both tipe of bikes, you won't believe the fun it is to ride a smaller travel bike on flowy trail's, or even tougher ones, had a DH race 2 week's ago and didn't have ridden the DH bike for a while and it was like a monster truck , could get more speed than what i did before because i got used to ride fast with less travel, and now i feel like my ridding skills have evolved
I hope the guy that commented that watching short travel bikes on gnarly trails is better than dh bikes because dh bikes are boring has watched this. This will put him back in his hole. Holy moly thus was sick. From start to finish I was shocked. Imagine a full video like this of all the top 20 guys in their favorite location. Itd be 40minutes of wtf??!!
most people were using downhill bikes for what we now call enduro, only the few were really riding to DH's potential ie this video thats why people like to think DH bikes 'arent relevent' anymore
@Zimmer68 dunno who those people are; maybe MTB theorists or marketing people. The truth is that when you want to ride the rough stuff with max fun and max safety then a big bike is the only way to go.
Right on PeteNoble13, people gettin all butt hurt when I say DH videos are a little boring. Hardly using the full potential of the bikes prowess. This is a perfect example of utilizing a DH's bike full potential. I swear it looks like he is riding a MX bike.
I just got done riding my jedi on a slopestyle course the other day, id love for some endure hippie to tell me it isn't useful anymore hahahaha! its always about how you ride, not what you ride!
This is what I was thinking the entire video. I adore the trailbikes I ride, but not for a minute do I think they are a replacement for a big rig. Just like I can tear down a trail that much faster on a 6 incher compared to an xc bike, the same goes for an 8 incher compared to the 6.
Honestly most people are likely not pushing it hard enough to notice the limitations. I know plenty of people on this site certainly do, but consider that even if half the push it enough to notice, we still have 50 percent of the market who do not. That, and I'd wager that a lot of people's local dh rides aren't gnarly and/or steep enough to warrant a big bike.
He rides like he is floating on his bike. Seems like the hardest the tires gets used is when he pushes them through berms, so gracefully. His landings look so controlled. Stay light and have good core strength to move the bike around.
Wow, seems everybody have problem loosing weight pedaling their enduros. @DHMF Yes but they are not moderators. @scottsecco Anyways if its actually the policy, i'll say what a crap policy, i'm waiting for the video of someone getting that loose on their enduro bikes, and if so, make it VOYear.
I know it can be hard to know when people are being sarcastic on the internet. It happens to the best of us. This is one of those times. Scott was joking.
If the pre-season vids are anything to go by then Brannigan is going to be an absolute weapon on the WC this year... Doesn't look like the bulldog is going to be the big dog at TWR for much longer...
He's always had amazing raw speed, especially through corners. Watch his video of him on the TWR youtube channel (came out about 1.5 years ago), his speed through corners is unbelievable
I'm waiting for one of those boring dudes to say "I can't relate to this because the level is so hgh" . response: braap kak lak kak fraaap kak lak kak raaaap braaap shhhhh chghh kak kak braaap
This vid will inspire some changes, it's got a different feel and therefore a game changer and deserving of a run at VOY. Kudos to the GB, these clips are insane thanks to his style and flow...where do I sell my sole to ride like this!
I think that Brannigan will have a great result at the Lourdes world cup coming up in less than three weeks time. One of the last times that there was a brand new venue that no one had raced before was Hafjell World Cup in 2012. George placed 2nd behind only Stevie Smith. Considering that Lourdes is a brand new stop to the world cup circuit and seeing the level of riding he is doing currently, I would predict George Brannigan to have a great result coming very soon!
Sick riding!!!!!! Now i want to leave my office and go shred my local trails even though after watching this video the term SHRED is forbiden....................
Source; Me...... I never get the ladies
Source; me.... loose, rocky sluts RULE!
Oh wait... I could care less about that crap.
Ride and break stuff!

Step 1: Be this guy.

BTW methinks Lemmy would have been a badass freerider, just wonder if there would have been a lid big enough for his moostachios
response: braap kak lak kak fraaap kak lak kak raaaap braaap shhhhh chghh kak kak braaap
George to win a WC this year maybe even do what ratty did last year, hes definitley gone to a new level yet in control, cant wait to see it!
