 Not to step into too big of a pile.. but Ratty did start winning UCI DH when he switched to the "devil pedal", and got clipped in.. I'm with Scott on this one.

For the record, I personally ride flats for freedom. but if staying on and winning races is the goal. Best to keep your feet in place.. Unless of course it's muddy has hell, requiring a dab and re-clip.. In that case, Gee showed us in Cairns that Flats still have a place on the top step.. well, and of course Sam Hill! Legend!.

 Why does one need to be better or worse? Let's put the "pick a pedal style and be a dick about it" to the side and just agree they are different. It was a fun, creative video and the top two comments are related to mammorys and pedal-filia rather than just being stoked for the creativity and awesome bike content we get for free via the miraculous interwebs.
