Recently, the two four-cross and enduro riders Laura Brethauer and Steffie Teltscher went to the pump track mecca Berlin, to bike around, to meet with other riders and have a good time, accompanied by filmmaker Ben Klose and photographer Christoph Bayer.
Riding pumptrack is simply amazing! That may confirm any of you who already was on a pumptrack, minimum effort for maximum happiness! However, not every pumptrack is the same, there are those that flow quite well, those which doesn't and some are perfect where you won't stop riding anymore. Among the latter are definitely the tracks built by Joscha Forstreuter. Where else will you find more pumptrack designed by the master himself than in Berlin? And because this city is always worth a visit and a lot of our friends from the bike scene live there, Steffie Teltscher and Laura Brethauer packed up their pumptrack-bikes and drove to Berlin.

Our to-do-list
Goodbye Berlin!
If they're in a story and they dress in baggies and a loose shirt with no make-up they often get bashed for looking like a dude.
If they wear tanktops (I don't think they're that revealing, and I'm a girl) they get bashed for being over sexual. It very well could be that's what they are comfortable riding in and do camera or not. There are as many personalities on a bike as there is off a bike, and just as many styles. Why do women HAVE to dress or look a certain way to be accepted as a female ripper?
As a matter of fact I found the "butt shot" interesting because I've never seen riding shorts like that! But I don't find these images overtly sexual either. Then again I'm not a sexually charged 16 year old!
I think these conversations are important, because in the long run women won't be such a hot topic, they'll just be part of the norm and future rippers wont have to worry so much about the stigma.
This post could have kept the headline, showed a few lifestyle shots, a few action shots, a few scenery shots, and the entire package would've been spot-on.
IMO, Pinkbike in a round about way catered to a sexually charged 16 year old audience. Not that I think there is anything wrong with that...............coming from a sexually charged 45 year old guy. hahahahaha
Whats the temp when these pics are taken? If a girl wants to wear a tank top on a hot day of riding, go ahead.
Attractive girls that are awesome riders that happen to understand a little sex appeal can help in a male dominated industry? Pinkbikers save us!
who gives a $hit what they look like or were wearing, this is a biking website, if you thought they looked hot etc, keep it to yourself and stfu!
As a 16 year old boy myself I'd like for the immaturity on pinkbike to stop already because I genuinely think it's off-putting for female riders when everything they do is sexualised. A girl can eat a friggin' cupcake if she wants to. It would do the industry and biking scene a whole load of good if more girls started to ride. So please guys, stop with the immature shit...
just asking, why do they call Berlin a pumptrack mecca? there are many of them?
