We're well into our multi-week bike review roundup down in Sedona, Arizona. An informal routine has developed amongst the crew, usually involving a big breakfast, a long morning ride, an afternoon lunch binge, and then more riding. Once the sun sets it's time to go over our notes, address any mechanical issues that may have cropped up, eat more food, and get ready to do it all over again the next morning. It's a routine that blurs one day into the next, everything turning into a haze of long rides, blue skies and tired muscles, and pretty much the perfect way to spend most of November.
And the tradition of random
roadtrip tattoos continues. What does ink done by a chain smoking cancer survivor who took last week off from work to kick an oxycodone habit look like? Now you know. Levy's on the left, Kazimer's on the right.
We still have another week or so left in the desert - watch for the results of our product testing throughout the winter.
1) I LOVE the Cannondale Trigger. It has to be one of my favorite bikes I have ever ridden.
2) The Mondraker and the Canyon look really similar
3) It seems as though the air can on the Float X on the Pivot seems to be within milimeters of touching the down tube.
I really enjoy seeing all the bikes side by side to compare shapes and geo of the different manufacturers. But I must agree that the price of this type of bike is incredible ( and I ride a fully tricked out Session 9.9 ).

If anyone is interested, That's William Carlos Williams "Red Wheelbarrow".
The Red Wheelbarrow was beautiful, and is in line with what I would choose if I was the tattoo getting sort.

also, there are a lot of freeriders and dirtjumpers on this site, why not more Dirtjump or freeride bikes (oh wait you guys proclaimed freeride to be dead, wich it clearly isn't it's more alive than ever). i do enjoy reading about trail and all mountain/enduro bikes, but a bit more diversity would be nice from time to time
just bought one!
panaphonic- does your bike have excessive chain growth ? are you sure chain tension is set up properly?

It looks really nice IMO, and it's pretty "cheap" among these other bad boys.
