Ok so I am soooooo in love with all the uprisings out there... Such nice builds... I'm wondering what the weight is on each of the uprising builds... I'm really considering the uprising but am trying to get away from my 35lb reign.. Without sacrificing the travel for the fun of descending anything and drops and jumps..

Mine weight 13.9kg/30.6lbs

Build up with ztr flow ex, hope hubs wheelset. The heavier super gravity hans dampf tires, dh worthy. Sram x0 cranks, absoluteblack narrow/wide 32t chainring, sram x0 derallieur/shifter, bos deville 170mm, renthal stem and bar, ks lev 150mm, csixx xc guide, formula the one with 180mm disc brakes. Probably not the lightest out there, but with this build, the bike and parts, can certainly handle some abuse.

My Evil Uprising in size M L. Bos deville 170mm fork ks lev seatpost ztr flow ex on hope hubs hans dampf super gravity compleet sram X0 kmx gold Formula The One 180mm disc

Why say sorry, it's awesome! Would love an Uprising.

Plan for my Evil, in bold is what I have already, italicized is undecided:

Frame: Evil Sovereign
Fork: Marzocchi 55 CR @ 150mm
Headset: Cane Creek
Stem: Thomson X4 50mm / Deity Cavity / Raceface ?
Bar: Deity Dirty30
Grips: Renthal Kevlar
Brakes: SLX?
Seatpost: Rockshox Reverb
Seat: Raceface Atlas / SDG Ti Fly / WTB Silverado ?
Crankset: Raceface Evolve with 34t N/W chain ring & Team xc BB
Guide: E13 XCX+
Pedals: Undecided whether to stick with flats or try clipless
Chain: Shimano 10spd
Cassette: Shimano SLX HG81 10spd
Rear mech: Shimano Zee Shadow+ 10spd
Shifter: Shimano Zee / SLX / Saint ?
Tyres: Maxxis HR2 Front, Ardent Rear
Wheelset: Hope Hoops Pro 2 Evo on Stans Flow Ex

Big question, stick with 26 or go 650B? I don't want to jack up the BB too much....I don't know how it would handle. Anyone with a Sovereign who can shed any light on this?

Think that's it...hoping for a fun AM/Trail shredder Smile

P.s I gotta say, their customer service is rad, the guy couldn't sound more stoked!

My Sovereign. Not quite a carbon super-bike but still a hell of a lot of fun.
